If you look at healthy eating three meals a day (or less on many diets) is not ideal, you should be eating five meals a day.

Bears are creatures that eat huge meals infrequently to sustain them. They carry a lot of body fat to feed them over time i.e they are binge eaters.

If you look at animals such as dear, elk and horses they graze and have similar proportion of body fat to humans.

Eating five times a day means you can eat enough to satisfy you, but its important to know how much you can eat in relation to your body size and there is a very easy way of doing this.

You can count calories, but let’s be frank who has the time or inclination to do this?

The trick is to use your hand.

A portion should be the size of your fist or the size of your palm.

Get one the size of your fist

Want some fish?

Get a portion the size of your palm

Eat naturally for healthy dieting

Now you need to eat quality fat carbohydrate and protein.

The trick here is to eat “naturally from the earth” and avoid additives and sugar.

For example, a meal should contain the three groups how about Salmon, brown rice and veagatbles? Or maybe a baked potato Turkey and vegetables?

Follow the above and you can eat 5 meals a day.

If you are in a hurry make your other two meals up before hand, some nice tasty salads (go easy on the dressing) some rice and fish.

Other healthy dieting tricks

Make sure you eat breakfast (the most important meal of the day) and get as much fibre as you can, as a lot of it is not absorbed and passes through the body. It also makes you feel full and has generally less calories than other foods.

The other trick is to drink lots of water ice cold. Many hunger pangs are simply thirst pangs, so get plenty of water by drinking it ice cold.

Your body has to heat it to body temperature and you will burn 400 calories a week!

Now you have done the above you will feel healthy and control your weight as nature intended.

Don’t forget a bit of exercise and by this we don’t mean hours in the gym. Simply do some brisk walking don’t take the lift try and walk up the stairs etc

Add in some swimming or cycling twice a week, its not to hard and remember, we were not born to just sit around were active beings.

what kinds of meals should i eat to have a healthy diet and lose weight?
im looking to lose a few pounds.i already have the work out part covered. but im a beast eater. i eat a lot of junk food. i want to start a healthy diet. meals that will help have a good nutrition.
Can u guys please offer me some meals and snack that i should eat. including the ingredients and recipe please? thank you<3

Try weight watchers.. they give you a list of healthy food and stuff.. here..

Hmm.. Weight Watchers actually works really well.
It doesn’t tell you what to eat, and it caters to your body type and everything..
There are two plans, flex and core.
The flex plan is easier, but still effective. You take a quiz, and it tells you how many points you should use a day. Then along with those points, usually around twenty or so, you get an additional 35 points you can use however you want throughout the week. There is a book that you get when you sign up that has almost all foods and their point values, along with a slider that you can manually figure out the point value.
The core plan is harder, but you loose more per week. You get a pretty long list of foods on the core plan, and you can eat as much of those as you please. You also get an additional 35 free points a week that you can spend however you want.

Another good thing about weight watchers is you record what you eat, so if you are over-eating, you will realize it..

I am on a diet now
i lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks and lost three paint sizes :D
for breakfast i eat 1 cup of special k cereal and a half a cup of milk and i measure it in a measuring cup. Right down everything you eat on a piece of paper and weigh your self every morning include that in your notebook. For school i take a hundred calorie snack. I eat again at 3 a smart one and then I don’t eat again until 7 which is when I have dinner. I either eat golden spoon, tuna salad, or an egg with salad and a 45 calorie piece of toast. About thirty minutes later I have an apple and If im still hungry ill finally have pretzels or Quaker rice cakes. Dont forget to check the calories on everything you eat !!!!

i wouldn’t recomend a diet like weight watchers, you can end up getting quite a few nutritional deficencies if you stay on these diets long term and you will find that when you stop using the diet you will begin to gain weight again. The best thing to do is organise your routine so that you have a healthy diet and plenty of excercise without it taking over your life. Try and organise it so that you have a portion of protein, carbohydrate and green veggies/fruit with each meal. For example you might have a piece of chicken (protein) some roast potatoes (carbohydrate) and a green salad (fruit/green veggies) you’ll find that this sort of diet will fill you up without making you gain weight or making you feel underfed. AVOID SUGAR AND FATTY FOOD!
